The founder and lead designer, Michaela Weisskirchner-Barfod, is an Austrian architect living and working in the hometown of Fabelab, Copenhagen. As a former architect and stage designer, Michaela finds inspiration for Fabelab’s products from stories of people around her.

They always design their products based on sustainable materials and beliefs. Reusability and upcycling are core tenets of their brand.
